A black and white portrait

Changes in life don't need to come in the form of 180 degree about face turns. A cake may require a lot of flour, but it doesn't all come from one stalk of wheat. A stream of gentle nudges and a little support here and there have inspired my dreams of becoming a design researcher, teacher, and practitioner. I will continue to be grateful for all the inspiration, all the help, and all the opportunities I have been given by those who have taken the time to know me.

Here is a list of awards I have received; a list of things for which I am thankful, and a reminder of the hard work of many people who have come before me.
